Acclaimed "American Honey" Hits BD and DVD on December 27
Revealing the provocative, rebellious and impulsive lifestyle of a band of millennial road warriors, 2016 Cannes Jury Prize Winner American Honey hits Blu-ray (plus Digital HD) and DVD on
December 27 from Lionsgate. Theatrically released by A24, and written and directed by Academy Award winner Andrea Arnold (Best Short Film, Live Action, Wasp, 2004), critics are calling American Honey “a raunchy, rapturous teenage dream” (Entertainment Weekly) and “a new classic” (The Atlantic). Mr Church Arrives on DVD/BD on October 25 from Lionsgate
Academy Award nominee Eddie Murphy (Best Supporting Actor, Dreamgirls, 2006) and Britt Robertson (Tomorrowland) star in the heart-warming film Mr. Church, arriving on Digital HD and On Demand October 21 and on Blu-ray and DVD on) October 25 from Codeblack Films and Lionsgate.
Currently in theaters, the film was produced by Cinelou Films and Envision Media Arts. Directed by Academy Award nominee Bruce Beresford (Director, Tender Mercies, 1983) and written by Susan McMartin (TV’s “Mom”), Mr. Church challenges the notions of family and unconditional love. The “touching account of an unlikely friendship marked by love and respect” (The Hollywood Reporter), premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and also stars Xavier Samuel (Love & Friendship), Lucy Fry (TV’s “11.22.63”), and Natascha McElhone (TV’s “Californication”).
Mr. Church tells the story of a unique friendship that develops when a little girl and her dying mother retain the services of a talented cook – Henry Joseph Church. What begins as a six-month arrangement instead spans fifteen years, and creates a family bond that lasts forever.

History Channel's Roots Arrives on DVD/Blu-ray on August 23
A powerful reimagining of the essential American story, HISTORY’s Roots arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on August 23 from Lionsgate. Debuting on Memorial Day, the premiere episode of Roots was watched by 14.4 million total linear viewers over the course of all premiere week telecasts. Based on the Alex Haley novel and inspired by the wildly successful 1977 series about one family’s struggle to resist the institution of American slavery, Roots is the can’t-miss television event of the year.
“Nearly 40 years ago I had the privilege to be a part of an epic television event that started an important conversation in America,” said LeVar Burton, Co-Executive Producer and the original Kunta Kinte. “I am incredibly proud to be a part of this new retelling and start the dialogue again, at a time when it is needed more than ever."
The 4-part miniseries is brought to life by an all-star cast including Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland), Anna Paquin (TV’s “True Blood”), Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix), Jonathan Rhys Meyers (TV’s “The Tudors”), Mekhi Phifer (The Divergent Series), Tip “T.I.” Harris (Ant-Man), Matthew Goode (TV’s “Downton Abbey”), alongside breakouts RegĂ©-Jean Page and Malachi Kirby.

"Suffragette" Arrives on March 1 for Public Libraries from Universal Home Entertainment

MARCO POLO to Discover DVD & Blu-ray in December
Anchor Bay Entertainment and The Weinstein Company are proud to announce the season one home entertainment release of the gripping Netflix drama, MARCO POLO. Featuring over an hour of never-before-seen special features including The Marco Polo Documentary, Deleted Scenes, Gag Reel, Fight Scene Rehearsals and more, MARCO POLO will be available on Blu-ray and DVD from Anchor Bay on December 15, 2015.
This epic adventure follows a young Marco Polo, who finds himself in the court of the great Kublai Khan and must navigate a world of greed, betrayal and sexual intrigue as the Mongol leader wages a bloody campaign to become Emperor of the World.
Re-creating the legendary explorer’s 13th century exploits in the Far East, this historical drama chronicles the intrigues, duplicity and greed running rampant in the court of the Mongolian ruler Khan.
The complete first season of MARCO POLO has a running time of 547 minutes, is not rated, and stars Lorenzo Richelmy (Sotto Una Buona, La Terra e Il Vento), Benedict Wong (The Martian, Prometheus), Zhu Zhu (Could Atlas, The Man with the Iron Fist), Remy Hii (Kiss, Treading Water) Olivia Cheng (Assault on Wall Street) and Joan Chen (Lust, Caution) from creator John Fusco (The Forbidden Kingdom, Hidalgo).
