PBS Distribution announced today it is releasing “DOWNTON ABBEY SEASON 6” on DVD and
Blu-ray. The top-rated PBS drama of all time approaches its climactic chapter as it enters its sixth and final season on MASTERPIECE, bringing exciting closure to a remarkable series. Where will fate, passion, ambition, and duty lead television’s most beloved characters? Millions of devoted viewers will soon find out in the final season of Downton Abbey.
Making their bittersweet farewell are members of the beloved cast, including Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Elizabeth McGovern, Jim Carter, Joanne Froggatt, Penelope Wilton, Phyllis Logan, Laura Carmichael, Brendan Coyle, Lesley Nicol, Sophie McShera, Robert James-Collier, Allen Leech, Kevin Doyle, Samantha Bond, David Robb, Raquel Cassidy and Michael Fox.
“DOWNTON ABBEY SEASON 6” will be available on DVD and Blu-ray January 26, 2016. The DVD SRP is $49.99 and the Blu-ray SRP is $59.99. The run time is approximately 9 hours on 3 discs. The DVD and Blu-ray sets contain all of Season 6, including the finale. The DVD and Blu-ray feature the original U.K. edition of Season 6 as well as more than 30 minutes of bonus video. And by special arrangement with PBS, Baker & Taylor AV will exclusively include a free dvd copy of DOWNTON ABBEY MANNERS with each Season 6 dvd order.

PBS to Release The Widower in October
PBS
Distribution announced today it will release “THE
WIDOWER” on DVD and Blu-ray on October 20, 2015. The
chilling true story of Malcolm Webster (Reece Shearsmith) a perfect British
gentleman – well-spoken, personable, and oozing with charm, or so it appears.
“THE WIDOWER” will be available on DVD and
Blu-ray October 20, 2015. right after it's October 4 -18 TV airing. The run time of the program is
approximately 180 minutes. The SRP for the DVD is $29.99 and $34.99 for
Blu-ray.
In 1993, Malcolm and his first wife Claire (Sheridan
Smith) have their dream wedding, only a year later she’s dead, a victim of a
tragic car accident. Four years later, completely broke, Malcolm
starts anew in New Zealand with his second wife Felicity (Kate Fleetwood).
However, on their wedding night, Felicity feels unusually
groggy and for the next year suffers from unexplained
blackouts. Soon, she pieces together small clues and realizes the
death of Malcolm’s first wife may not have been an accident after all.
