"The Longest Ride" Arrives on July 14

What would you do for the love of your life? Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment invites you to grab the bull by the horns in THE LONGEST RIDE, which releases on Blu-ray and DVD July 14., 2015.   Up-and-coming stars Britt Robertson and Scott Eastwood will tug at your heartstrings as they bring Nicholas Sparks’ beloved novel to life.

Based on the bestselling novel by master storyteller Sparks, THE LONGEST RIDE centers on the star-crossed love affair between Luke, a former champion bull rider looking to make a comeback, and Sophia, a college student who is about to embark upon her dream job in New York City’s art world.  As conflicting paths and ideals test their relationship, Sophia and Luke make an unexpected connection with Ira, whose memories of his own decades-long romance with his beloved wife deeply inspire the young couple.  Spanning generations and two intertwining love stories, THE LONGEST RIDE explores the challenges and infinite rewards of enduring love.

Sound Of Music-50th Anniversary Music CD and Blu-Ray Announced

THE SOUND OF MUSIC – 50^th ANNIVERSARY EDITION, a multi-format soundtrack release celebrating Rodgers & Hammerstein's 5-time Academy Award-winning movie musical in a newly re-mastered and expanded version, will be available every­where on March 10, 2015 through Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment and via Baker & Taylor.

As part of an extensive half-century celebration, THE SOUND OF MUSIC – 50^th ANNIVERSARY EDITION will feature previously unreleased orchestral cues from the Academy Award-winning score, and all vocal performances on one CD for the first time.  Led by Julie Andrews, whose work in the film earned her a Golden Globe award and an Academy Award nomination, the soundtrack rings out with heart­warming, iconic standards.  From the title composition, "The Sound of Music," to "Sixteen Going on Seven­teen," "Do-Re-Mi," "Edelweiss," "So Long, Farewell," "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," and of course, "My Favorite Things," The Sound Of Music is a treasure for all time.

In addition to the previously unreleased material, the new soundtrack will also include new introductory notes from Julie Andrews and Theodore S. Chapin, president and executive director of Rodgers & Hammerstein; and in-depth liner notes written by Laurence Malson, author of The Sound Of Music Companion.  The CD package will also include rare photographs and illustrations from the film.
