John Boorman's "Queen & Country" Arrives on DVD

Based on Boorman’s early adult years, this moving and funny film follows Bill Rohan,  child of the Blitz,  as he comes of age while the country is drawn into the Korean War. At boot camp, Bill and his new buddies master the art of poking fun at petty tyrants and hunger for weekend leave with local beauties.

This long awaited sequel to the five-time Academy Award nominated Hope and Glory has been hailed as “riveting” and “a privilege” by the San Francisco Chronicle, and is a fitting end to the career of a masterful director.

Savor this poignant and powerful mix of laughter, longing, and the launch of adulthood in a time of war, starring Callum Turner (The Borgias, Ripper Street), Caleb Landry Jones (X-Men: First Class, No Country for Old Men), David Thewlis (Harry Potter series, War Horse, Naked), Tamsin Egerton (Silent Witness), and the great Richard E.
