Kane Brown Sets December 2 "Kane Brown" Album Release

After previewing the news for fans recently, RCA Nashville/Zone 4 breakout recording artist Kane Brown today announced the release date, cover art, and track listing for his highly-anticipated debut album, out December 2nd. The self-titled album marks the first full length LP for the “viral sensation” [Noisey] and Brown’s next project since signing with RCA Nashville in January 2016.

Noted for “breaking country’s rules” [Billboard] and as “an artist to pay attention to” [Rolling Stone Country] Brown has been recognized as an “Artist To Watch” by Billboard, HITS and Huffington Post, and was recently selected to Ticketmaster’s first ever New Music Favorites series. Brown’s self-released EP Chapter 1, debuted in March 2016 at No. 3 on the Billboard Country albums chart, No. 9 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums all genre chart, and hit No. 1 on the iTunes Country Albums and iTunes Overall Albums charts, all prior to radio air play. His breakout co-penned single “Used To Love You Sober” was recently certified GOLD by the RIAA and his current single “Thunder In The Rain” marks Brown’s fifth song to be propelled to No. 1 on the iTunes Country Charts, prior to any radio air play, by his dedicated fan base.

Known for his unparalleled fan connection, Brown first became known to fans for posting cover and original songs to his personal Facebook page, where he has independently grown his fanbase to more than 2 million followers. On June 16, Brown released the track “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now” to digital and streaming retailers after he previewed the song via his Facebook page, where the clip garnered 11.1 million views and 212k shares. His cover of George Strait’s “Check Yes Or No” from September 2015 has received more than 10 million views to date, and a recently previewed video of his autobiographical original song named “Learning” immediately received millions views in less than an hour.

Fans can currently catch Brown on the road on Florida Georgia Line’s 2016 Dig Your Roots Tour and on his own headlining tour with Monster Energy Outbreak, the Ain’t No Stopping Us Now Tour, starting this fall. In addition to a sold-out opening night on November 3rd, the tour will visit 30 markets between November and January, including stops December 3rd at New York City’s Irving Plaza and January 6th at the Belasco Theater.

The singer/songwriter, whose last five self-released songs have also reached No. 1 on the iTunes Country chart, co-penned seven tracks on the album.
