Laura Marling Unveils "Wild Fire" - Listen!

Laura Marling has unveiled "Wild Fire," the second track to be lifted from her forthcoming
sixth studio album, Semper Femina. Semper Femina is releasing on March 10 via More Alarming Records/Kobalt Music  Recordings.Listen to "Wild Fire", below.
And, Laura is a musical guest on esteemed traveling radio show A Prairie Home Companion
on Saturday January 14th - broadcast live on NPR affiliates from 5pm-7pm Central
Time. The show - hosted by Chris Thile - will be broadcast from The Symphony Theater in Chicago. Laura joins Chris, Andrew Bird and Beth Stelling on the bill.

The 26 year old English singer-songwriter Laura Marling's latest track is "Wild Fire."
Taken from her forthcoming album Semper Femina, it follows a loose, lyrical thread
of feminine exploration. It drops a light on an unspecified 'muse' of Laura's, and
sweeps in and out of focus on how the acclaimed musician views femininity as the
years pass. It's not a concept record per se, but that aforementioned thread unravels
and reaffirms throughout the record's duration.

"Wild Fire" follows the first single "Soothing" whose intimate video introduced Laura behind the camera lens in her directorial debut, and sequels to the video will follow throughout the album's unveiling.

Laura was only 20 years old when, in 2011, she was awarded the UK's Grammy equivalent
BRIT Award for Best British Solo Female Artist. Recording since the age of 16, Semper
Femina is her sixth album. A rich and enriching listen, Semper Femina is a typically
mature and raw listen by one of our most talented and prolific young musicians of
a generation. Following the release of Semper Femina, Laura hits the road to support
the release.

"Good Charlotte" Plan July 15 Youth Authority Release

 

Pop-punk GOOD CHARLOTTE are set to release their sixth studio album YOUTH AUTHORITY on Friday, July 15, via the Madden Brothers’ own label MDDN, distributed worldwide through Kobalt Label Services.

The multi-platinum-selling group’s first single “40 oz. Dream” world premiered as today’s “World Record” on Zane Lowe’s “Beats 1” radio show this morning. The lyric video for “40 oz. Dream” exclusively premiered today, Monday, April 4 on RollingStone.com.

Pet Shop Boys Back in April with "Super"

Pet Shop Boys are back and will release their new album Super on x2 Records via Kobalt on

April 1, 2016. Produced and mixed by Stuart Price in Los Angeles, the album was written in London and Berlin. The record features twelve new Tennant/Lowe compositions including the lead single, “The Pop Kids,” evoking the London club scene of the early 90s.
Super will be available on CD and vinyl from B&T.

And, the band has confirmed a four night residency at London’s Royal Opera House on July 20-23. Entitled “Inner Sanctum,” the site-specific concert series will be staged by longtime PSB designer Es Devlin and choreographer Lynne Page. The band notes, “It was fantastic to be back in the studio with Stuart Price continuing from where we left off with Electric and we’re thrilled with the results. It’s also very exciting to take electronic music into the Royal Opera House—such a grand and beautiful venue. These will be four very special nights for us and our only UK concerts this year.”
