NEIL YOUNG's EARTH Out June 17th

Music legend Neil Young will release his new album, entitled EARTH, on June 17th via Reprise Records. The album features performances of songs from a range of Young's albums, including last
year's The Monsanto Years, 1990's Ragged Glory, and 1970's After the Gold Rush. The audio was captured during Young's 2015 tour with The Promise of the Real, fronted by Lukas Nelson (vocals/guitar) and Micah Nelson (guitar, vocals); Willie Nelson'ssons. The tour included Young performing solo and with the band for a full electric show.

A new take on some of Young's most beloved songs, EARTH features the live recordings,
along with added musical overdubs, as well as sounds of the earth, such as city
sounds like car horns, sounds of insects, and animal sounds from bears, birds, crickets,
bees, horses, cows - creating a very strange, yet beautiful atmosphere. "Ninety-eight uninterrupted minutes long,

EARTH flows as a collection of 13 songs from throughout my life, songs I have written
about living here on our planet together," says Young. "Our animal kingdom is well represented in the audience as well, and  the animals, insects, birds, and mammals actually take over the performances of  the songs at times."

The WILD KRATTS are Back on DVD with "Super Sprinters"

PBS Distribution announced the release of two stories from PBS KIDS’ popular WILD KRATTS series on the new DVD “SUPER SPRINTERS.”  The Kratt Brothers are always on the move, and in this DVD, that is never truer!  In “Cheetah Racer,” Chris and Martin think that cheetahs can travel faster than any other creature or vehicle over the rough African savannah, but Aviva and archenemy Zach Varmitech challenge this and compete to build a ground racer that can travel even faster. The speed theme continues with “Falcon City.” In this episode the brothers fly with the world’s fastest animal, the Peregrine falcon. The brothers discover that Varmitech and his Zachbots are threatening to destroy a Peregrine falcon’s nest located on a city building. Can Martin and Chris pull off a high flying rescue?

In each episode of WILD KRATTS, creature teachers Chris Kratt and Martin Kratt take kids and their families along on extraordinary animal-powered adventures. The show transforms the Kratt Brothers, creators of the award-winning KRATTS’ CREATURES and Emmy-winning ZOBOOMAFOO, into animated versions of themselves, allowing the real-life zoologists to visit wild animals in their little-seen habitats and showcase key science concepts along the way. WILD KRATTS airs weekdays on PBS KIDS (check local listings).

TOUGH BEING LOVED BY JERKS Out June 9

On the morning of January 7th, 2015, the offices of the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo were attacked, and twelve people were killed. Two brothers affiliated with Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) carried out the crime, a reaction to Hebdo's publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

The documentary Tough Being Loved by Jerks (2008) turns back the calendar to 2006, just after the publication of the caricatures of Muhammad, and documents the firestorm of controversy that it provoked. Because he had published the twelve Danish cartoons that had triggered the wrath of Muslims worldwide, Philippe Val, the editor of Charlie Hebdo, a French satirical newspaper, was cited to court by the Great Mosque of Paris, the World Muslim League and the Union of Islamic Organizations of France.

Director Daniel Leconte captured the court proceedings brought against Charlie Hebdo by the Great Mosque of Paris, the World Muslim League and the Union of Islamic Organizations of France. He had been covering this extraordinary trial in real time, aiming at deciphering the international political, ideological and media-related stakes with the key participants. The film features lawyers, witnesses, the media, editorial conferences, demonstrations of support... as well as the stances of intellectuals and politicians, the reactions of the prosecutors and of Muslim countries...

The Newsroom: Complete Third Season to Arrive on DVD/BD

Every story needs a final word, and this summer, Atlantic Cable News anchor Will McAvoy will give his final newscast when the third and last season of the highly addictive, award-winning HBO series The Newsroom makes its home entertainment debut. Starring Emmy Award winner Jeff Daniels (Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series) and created by Aaron Sorkin (Academy Award winner for writing The Social Network, creator of the multiple Emmy winner The West Wing), The Newsroom follows a popular cable news anchor (Daniels) and his staff in their fervent attempt to report the news honestly and fairly amidst corporate mandates and complicated personal relationships. The Newsroom: The Complete Third Season will be available on Blu-ray with Digital HD ($49.99) and DVD ($39.98) June 16, 2015, giving avid fans of the series a chance to complete their collections.

The third and final season of The Newsroom finds Will, Mac (Emily Mortimer) and the staff of "News Night" facing two explosive situations: the possibility of a hostile takeover of the network, and leaked classified government documents that unleash a legal fire storm threatening to topple more than one professional career. Going beyond the headlines, the six-part season turns its attention inward, focusing on a series of internal events at ACN that rock the very foundation of the network, and tackles such topics as privacy issues, the influence of social media on traditional news gathering and corporate takeover. The men and women of "News Night" are faced with personal and professional dilemmas that will forever determine their futures. Set against the backdrop of the Boston Marathon bombing, The Newsroom kicks off the season with a highly charged look at the core issue of maintaining journalistic integrity in the era of 24-hour news cycles, while crowd-sourcing and "citizen journalism" result in the dissemination of misinformation.

The all-star cast of The Newsroom is headlined by Emmy Award winner Jeff Daniels and Emily Mortimer. Also starring are Academy Award nominee Sam Waterston; Tony Award Winner John Gallagher, Jr.; Alison Pill; Thomas Sadoski ; Dev Patel; and Olivia Munn. Returning guest stars include two-time Academy Award winner Jane Fonda, who won the 2013 Emmy Award for her role, Chris Messina, David Harbour and Marcia Gay Harden.
